Walk on Mutianyu Great Wall and explore all highlight attractions in Beijing downtown area on this 4 days private tour with round way airport transfer. On your arrival day, enjoy your free time or have a good rest after the long time flying. On the following three days you will enjoy the rich history and culture of Beijing. The tour service includes private transfer, English speaking guide, lunch, and entrance fees. Hotel is left to tourists’ own choice.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Beijing Arrival (No meal)⌄

    Upon your arrival in Beijing airport/train station, our driver will meet you at exit by holding a welcome board with your name. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.

  2. 2Beijing (Lunch)⌄

    At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First, we will drive to visit Dingling Tomb, the tomb of Emperor Shenzong, Zhuyijun, who reigned 48 years, the longest among all Ming emperors.

    Then we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.

    On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures.

    Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks.

  3. 3Beijing (Lunch)⌄

    At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First, we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world.

    Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City (closed on every Monday), the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.

    After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.

    Then you take a walk in Hutong to see the daily life of local people.

    Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Market to learn about traditional Chinese pharmacy and meet many kinds of herb medicine.

  4. 4Beijing Departure (Lunch)⌄

    After hotel pickup at 08:00, you will firstly pay a visit to Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.

    Then pay a visit to Pearl Market to appreciate some delicate pearl artworks.

    Afterwards you will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures.

    At last you will be transferred to airport/train station to depart Beijing. Tips: We advise you book the flight departs Beijing after 17:00 or train departs Beijing after 15:00.
