Day by day itinerary

1. 1Negombo to Sigiriya⌄

   Transfer to Sigiriya, located in the Cultural Triangle

   Dambulla Cave Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit the stunning cave temple complex with beautiful Buddha statues and murals.

   Sigiriya Rock: Continue to Sigiriya, where you can explore the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, known for its breathtaking views, ancient frescoes, and Lion’s Gate.

2. 2SIGIRIYA To KANDY⌄

   Proceed to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka

   Royal Botanical Garden Peradeniya: Visit the beautifully landscaped gardens, home to a vast collection of orchids, spices, and tropical plants.

   Tooth Relic Temple: Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the holiest Buddhist sites.

   Kandyan Dance Performance: End the day by enjoying a traditional Kandyan dance performance, a cultural highlight of Kandy.

3. 3Kandy to Ella⌄

   Board the famous Kandy to Ella Train, one of the most scenic train rides in the world.

   Nine Arch Bridge: Upon arrival in Ella, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, a picturesque railway bridge set amidst lush greenery.

   Little Adam's Peak: Take a short hike to the top of Little Adam's Peak, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

4. 4Depart from Ella to Yala.⌄

   Ravana Waterfall: Stop at the scenic Ravana Waterfall, a stunning waterfall that is a perfect spot for a photo op or a short break.

   Evening Yala National Park Safari: Embark on an exciting evening safari in Yala National Park, known for its diverse wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and a wide variety of birds.

5. 5Yala to Negombo⌄

   After breakfast, begin your journey back to Negombo.

   Galle Fort: Stop at the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, a colonial-era fort with charming streets, boutique shops, and spectacular ocean views.

   Turtle Hatchery: Visit a turtle hatchery on the southern coast to learn about conservation efforts and witness baby turtles being released into the ocean.
