8 Day: Luxor & Cairo

Overview

Day by day itinerary

1. 1Arrive Luxor⌄

   Welcome to Luxor, Egypt (Around The Clock) Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Luxor International Airport, and then he will escort you to your Nile Cruise by an air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Luxor.

2. 2Luxor Tours⌄

   transfer to the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon.

   sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Overnight in Edfu.

3. 3Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples⌄

   visiting Horus Temple at Edfu. and sail to Kom Ombo.

   Upon arrival, visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. continue sailing to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

4. 4Aswan Tours⌄

   pay a visit to the High Dam,

   Overnight in Aswan.

   the Unfinished Obelisk,

   and the majestic Philae Temple. Dinner on board.

5. 5Fly Aswan to Cairo – Pyramids Tour⌄

   transfer to Aswan Airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue.

   proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis, Overnight in Cairo.

6. 6Cairo Sightseeing Tours – Train to Luxor⌄

   checkout from your hotel. Then transfer to visit the Egyptian Museum. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot).

   moving to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside.

   Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. in the evening transfer to Giza station taking your sleeping train to Luxor.

   Overnight: Sleeper Train

7. 7Luxor East Bank Sightseeing⌄

   Upon arrival at Luxor station, transfer to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples in the East bank. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Luxor.

8. 8Luxor – Fly Back Home⌄

   transfer to Luxor international Airport for final departure
