Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Day 1 : ARRIVAL ATHENS⌄

    Arrive at Athens International Airport. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting to greet you in the Arrivals Hall and the transportation service will transfer you to your hotel at the scheduled time. We recommend you to book an arrival flight that arrives in the morning prior to 12:00 pm to allow you to enjoy the day’s activity. Check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to freshen up after your flight before the half-day tour of Cape Sounio. You will be collected from your hotel at 13:30 and driven along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza on the way to Cape Sounio. You will have splendid views of the Saronic Gulf and its islands en route. Upon arrival in Cape Sounio, visit the Temple of Poseidon, one of the major monuments from the Golden Age of Athens. Poseidon was the ancient Greek god of the sea, and his temple dominates the southernmost tip of Attica, where the horizon meets the Aegean Sea. After visiting the impressive temple site, there will be time to explore the rocky cape of Sounio before being transferred back to your hotel at around 19:00. Overnight in Athens.

  2. 2Day 2 : ATHENS: HALF-DAY CITY TOUR⌄

    Start the day with breakfast at the hotel and then head out to explore the city at your own pace. We recommend you start in Syntagma Square, then move on to Plaka and the Acropolis. You may also book the Optional Hop On – Hop off bus ticket to explore the Capital of Greece: Athens. Our City Sightseeing, open top, double deck bus tour of Athens takes you around and encompasses central Athens, commencing at Syntagma Square. Tracing the history and culture of Athens from ancient times to the present day and passing a plethora of various shopping opportunities that are along the route. You can easily visit many things including World famous museums, with spectacular views of ancient temples, the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Athens represents the juxtaposition of ancient history and modern life which is a very rare experience and one not to be missed. Overnight in Athens.
