Overview
Trekking to the Mulu Pinnacles is an adventurous journey deep into the heart of Gunung Mulu National Park in Malaysian Borneo. The trail winds through dense rainforest, limestone caves, and steep, rugged terrain, culminating in a challenging vertical climb to the viewpoint. At the summit, trekkers are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sharp, jagged limestone formations that pierce through the jungle canopy — a surreal and unforgettable sight. It's a physically demanding but incredibly rewarding experience for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike.
Day by day itinerary
1ARRIVAL: MULU NATIONAL PARK / KUALA LITUT (D)⌄
Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, meet and greet with our friendly local tour guide. Transfer to Mulu National Park
Proceed to Mulu National Park Headquarters for registration. Continue journey by a longboat to Kuala Litut. Jungle trek to Camp 5 (approximately 9km - 4 hours). Packed lunch will be served on the way to Camp 5
Upon arriving at Camp 5, free and easy until Dinner. Overnight at Camp 5

2GUNUNG API / PINNACLES (B/L/D)⌄
Breakfast at Camp 5. After breakfast, ascend to Gunung Api for 3 hours to view the magnificent Pinnacles. During the climb you will see many species of plants, all types of insects within this virgin jungle of Borneo. Packed lunch will be serve at the observatory point. After lunch descend to Camp 5. Dinner and overnight at Camp 5.

Breakfast at Camp 5. Trek to Kuala Litut jetty and transfer to Mulu Airport for departure flight
