Day by day itinerary

1. 1Arrival in Kigali and transfer to the hotel⌄

   Up on arrival, you meet our driver and transfer to hotel for dinner and accommodation at Chez Lando Hotel

2. 2Akagera Sunrise Safari & Sunset Boat Ride⌄

   Early morning at 5:00 driving to Akagera National Park for morning safaris and game drive until lunch time. After lunch, drive to Ihema Lake for sun set boat from 4:30 until 6:00 when we drive to hotel for dinner and accommodation; accommodation at Akagera Game Lodge

3. 3Day safaris and night game drive in Akagera NP⌄

   TAfter breakfast, again have on other game drive towards the north of the park. Afternoon transfer to Karenge Bush Camp for night game drive as well as overstay; accommodation at Karenge Bush camp.

4. 4Scenic safari and driving to Volcanoes NP⌄

   We have an early morning safari and after a breakfast at 9am, we go for morning game drive as we exit towards Musanze. Afternoon, we drive to Musanze Town where we reach at dinner time; accommodation at Fatima Hotel.

5. 5Trekking Mountain Gorillas and visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus⌄

   Depart from hotel after breakfast to rich the park head quarter at 7:00 when we have briefing on gorilla trekking and be allocated to the group of Mountain Gorillas. After Lunch, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus to learn the legacy and hard work of Dian Fossey to protect the endangered Mountain Gorilla.

6. 6Trekking Golden Monkeys and transfer to Lake Kivu⌄

   We go to the park HQ for briefing on visiting the endangered primate, Golden Monkey; trekking goes until lunch time. After lunch, we drive to Gisenyi; a town around Lake Kivu; accommodation at Kivu Gorilla Hotel

7. 7Tea processing experience and drive to Nyungwe NP⌄

   After breakfast, we drive to Pfunda Tea Estate and we experience the tea plantation, harvesting and processing. After this experience we are driving along Lake Kivu to Kibuye town where we have lunch. After lunch have a boat cruise on Lake Kivu to see islands and beauty of the lake; later afternoon we drive to Nyungwe NP; accommodation at Chimpanzee Lodge.

8. 8Trekking Chimpanzee and canopy walk experience⌄

   With packed breakfast, we leave the lodge at 5:30am for chimpanzee trekking.; the trekking goes until lunch time. At 2pm, we go for canopy walk, a bridge of 70m canopy and 200 high. At 5pm, we drive back to the lodge.

9. 9Coffee processing experience and King Palace house⌄

   After breakfast, we drive to Kigali with a stop at Maraba coffee, to experience a whole process of coffee from plantation to cup. After lunch, we visit King Palace Museum then transfer to Kigali for dinner and overnight at Chez Lando Hotel

10. 10Tour of Kigali City, Kigali Genocide Memorial and evening flight⌄

    Morning city tour where you can visit Kigali Genocide Memorial until lunch time (we can also visit Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-tourism Park). Have lunch, then souvenir shopping until evening and drop off at Airport; END
