Day by day itinerary

1. 1Arrive Guwahati⌄

   Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, you'll be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After settling in at the hotel, take some time to relax and freshen up.

   Visit Kamakhya Temple, an important Shakti shrine atop Nilachal Hill, known for its architectural grandeur and spiritual significance.

   Explore Navagraha Temple, dedicated to the nine celestial bodies of Hindu astrology, offering a tranquil ambiance for devotees.

   Next, head to Umananda Island, the smallest inhabited river island in the world, and visit the Umananda Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, nestled amidst lush greenery.

   In the evening, embark on a serene sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River, soaking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

   Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

2. 2Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (200km/ 4hr approx)⌄

   After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of the iconic one-horned rhinoceros.

   Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and unwind amidst the tranquility of the surroundings.

   Later in the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating safari adventure through the park, offering opportunities to spot diverse wildlife including tigers, elephants, and wild water buffaloes. As you traverse through the park's diverse landscapes, marvel at the beauty of its tall grasslands, marshes, and dense forests.

3. 3Kaziranga National Park⌄

4. 4Kaziranga - Majuli (150km/ 4hr approx)⌄

   Breakfast at resort followed by morning safari in Kaziranga National park.

   Upon reaching Majuli, check in at the lodge and take some time to freshen up. Explore the cultural heritage of Majuli, known for its Neo-Vaishnavite culture and vibrant tribal communities.

   Visit a Mishing tribe village, interact with the locals, and learn about their unique way of life. Discover the island's natural beauty as you explore its lush landscapes and thriving birdlife, including rare and endangered species.

5. 5Majuli – Jorhat (40km / 1hr approx)/ Flight⌄

   After breakfast at the lodge, bid farewell to Majuli and proceed to Kamalabari Ghat to board a ferry back to Jorhat.

   Upon reaching Jorhat, embark on a city tour, exploring the tea capital of India.

   Visit a tea estate to learn about the tea-making process, from cultivation to processing, and savor a cup of freshly brewed Assam tea.

   Explore historic landmarks such as Thengal Bhawan and Bangalpukhari Tank, reflecting the region's rich heritage.

   Conclude your tour with a transfer to Jorhat airport for your onward journey, carrying with you cherished memories of your time spent amidst the natural beauty and cultural treasures of Assam.
