Stella Maris Monastery in Haifa commemorates several famous characters within the Carmelite Order - a Catholic order known for its devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Elijah the prophet. Four famous saints with connections to the order are St. Edith Stein, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, and St. Mariam Baouardy. These saints were important figures in the history and development of the Carmelite Order and their legacies continue to inspire people around the world.

    Walk inside the walls of the Old City and discover its ancient history while passing through all its 4 quarters, visiting the holiest sites in the world in "the most explosive place on earth" - hence understanding the complexity of Jerusalem, Israel, and the middle east through this one square kilometer.

    The holiest site in the world for almost all of all the Christian denominations. Where Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected Religion, history, and archeology merge inside the old walls of the Church. Including answers to the riddles: "Who moved my ladder?" and "How many people does it take to replace a lightbulb in that holy site?"

    The Church of the Nativity is one of the oldest working churches in existence today. The first Church was built by the Roman Emperor Constantine in the 4th century AD, over the grotto where Mary gave birth to Jesus. Inside the grotto of the Nativity Church there are fourteen point silver stars that mark the exact spot of Jesus’ birth. An inscription on the star states: Hic de Virgin Maria Jesus Christus Natus Est – meaning “Here Jesus Christ was born to the Virgin Mary.”
