Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Meet & Greet then Tour of Eswatini⌄

    Eswatini is a small land-locked country in southern Africa. It is surrounded by Mozambique to the east and by South Africa to the north, west and south. The country is ruled by an absolute Monarch and it is well known as a destination for those interested in African cultural indulgence.

    Your first stop after border formalities will be Ngwenya Glass. This factory started as a community skills training project where locals were trained in an old Swedish glass-blowing technique. The factory has grown over the years and has become a major tourist attraction. You will visit an observation deck to see the workers in action. There is a factory shop for souvenirs as well as many other stalls in the vicinity.

    A stop at the market with enable you to interact with the locals while appreciating their many offering sold in stalls from local fruits, vegetables, traditional medicines, art and craft gadgets and the like. Thereafter, you will be dropped at your overnight accommodation in the heart Lobamba district.

    This village was established to showcase both past and present history, culture and customs of the people of Eswatini in the form of music, dance and story-telling. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with the locals who are always willing to answer any questions about their country.

  2. 2Tour of Eswatini continued⌄

    The Park is dedicated to King Sobuza II who is said to be the longest serving king in the world. You will be met by a local guide who will talk about important political personalities and events.

    This is another community project that has grown so much and has become one of the country's major tourist attraction. You will see how the locals have mastered the skill of working with wax to produce beautiful artefacts found only in Eswatini. There are also many art and craft stalls in the vicinity.

    After the tour, we head east towards Lomahasha border post. Once immigration processes have been completed, we drive straight to Maputo and check in at Stay Easy Maputo

  3. 3Tour of Maputo city⌄

    The Victorian-style building was first constructed in 1897 and later rebuilt to its present structure between 1908 -1913. The station is located at Praca dos Trabalhadores and it connects the neighbouring countries of South Africa, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe.

    Conceived and built and shipped to the then Lourenco Marques to house the Governor of Lourenco Marques during Portuguese rule.

    Fruit and veg

    This is where most Maputo residents meet to purchase fruit and vegetables and other soft goods. Build in 1910 and has just been renovated recently

    Built in 1913 and house exhibits that show-cases Mozambique's natural history to include topography and animals both land and ocean

    The impressive building lies in the heart of maputo city next to Maputo town hall.

  4. 4Mafalala walking Tour and transfer to Ponta do Ouro⌄

    Mafalala neighbourhood is a vibrant old township in the periphery of Maputo city. A local guide will take you through the vibes urban culture and history of Lourenco Marques now Maputo city, a history shaped by ordinary citizens most of whom made their contribution for the liberation of Mozambique through poetry, literature arts and crafts.

    This is a small coastal town located south of maputo near the South African border of Kosi Bay. It is the gateway to South Africa's province of Kwazulu-Natal

  5. 5Travel to iSimangaliso Wetland Park⌄

    St Lucia is a contender for the title of South Africa’s wildest town. It occupies a jungle-swathed peninsula sandwiched between the vast St Lucia estuary and the open waters of the Indian Ocean. Here, you shouldn’t be surprised if you see hippo, warthog or bushbuck roaming the streets, or heavyweight birds such as African fish eagle, trumpeter hornbill and purple-crested turaco calling loudly from the canopy. Wildlife aside, St Lucia is a modern town with plenty of restaurants, and it forms the best urban base for exploring iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a Unesco World Heritage Site renowned for its terrestrial and marine biodiversity. Your overnight venue will be iGwalagwala Guest House in St. Lucia before proceeding to the Underberg area the following day.

    Today you will have to opportunity to spot crocodiles and hippos in their natural habitat. There are also a variety of birds on site as you cruise along

  6. 6Travel to Underberg⌄

    The day will be spent in the vehicle driving to the south coast and stopping occasionally for stretching up and refreshments before checking in at Ceder Guest house in Underberg.

  7. 7Sani Pass and Lesotho⌄

    Today you will enjoy scenic drive in a 4x4 vehicle in the company of an experienced and knowledgeable local guide. You will depart early in the morning and meandering on the rugged roads of the Drakensberg Mountains until you reach the border control into the famous 10 km trip on Lesotho territory. During this venture, you will also get the opportunity to savor local beer and other drinks of your choice at the highest pub in Africa on Sani Mountain Lodge. The trip will wind back late that afternoon before being dropped off at your final destination.

  8. 8Drop off at OR Tambo or King Shaka airport⌄
