Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Angkor’s Iconic Temples with Sunset (08:30–18:30)⌄

Meeting Point: Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 08:30 AM. From there, you'll travel together to the ticket booth to purchase your Angkor Archaeological Park entrance pass, or present your pass if purchased online in advance. Note: The Angkor Archaeological Park entrance ticket is not included in the tour price.

After purchasing your temple pass, your tour begins at the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom. Visit the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom, featuring giant smiling faces and a grand entrance to the ancient walled city.

Bayon Temple - Famous for its iconic towers carved with more than 200 serene, smiling faces, Bayon stands at the heart of Angkor Thom. Inside, you’ll explore intricate bas-reliefs depicting ancient Khmer life, battles, and legends, making it one of Angkor’s most captivating and symbolic temples.

Baphuon Temple is a massive three-tiered pyramid temple in Angkor Thom, originally dedicated to Shiva. Known for its steep terraces and intricate bas-reliefs, it was once the tallest structure in the city.

The Terrace of the Elephants is a long ceremonial platform in Angkor Thom, famous for its carved elephant and garuda figures. It was used by Khmer kings to view parades and public events.

The Terrace of the Leper King is a raised platform in Angkor Thom, decorated with intricate bas-reliefs. Named after a mysterious statue once thought to depict a leper king.

Ta Prohm Temple, famously featured in Tomb Raider, is renowned for the massive tree roots growing over its ruins. Its dramatic “lost in the jungle” atmosphere makes it one of Angkor’s most iconic and photogenic temples.

Lunch (not included). Enjoy a Cambodian meal at a nearby restaurant recommended by your guide.

After lunch, continue your tour with a visit to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, exploring its stunning architecture and intricate carvings.

Conclude your day with a magical experience at Phnom Bakheng, a hilltop temple offering one of the most breathtaking sunset views in Angkor. Built in the late 9th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, it once served as the state temple of King Yasovarman I.

After a full day of exploration, return to your hotel to relax.

  2. 2Grand Circuit with Sunrise & Banteay Srei (05:00–12:00)⌄

On the second day, enjoy a sunrise view at Angkor Wat. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 AM. We recommend bringing breakfast from your hotel to enjoy after the sunrise.

After sunrise, enjoy your breakfast at the temple, then visit Pre Rup, a majestic mountain-style temple known for its stunning views over the surrounding countryside and peaceful early morning atmosphere.

After visiting Pre Rup, continue to Banteay Srei, the “Citadel of Women,” famed for its intricate pink sandstone carvings and exquisite bas-reliefs, showcasing some of the finest artistry in Angkor. This beautiful temple is located about 35 km from the city, making it a unique and quieter experience away from the crowds.

Banteay Samre is a serene 12th-century temple known for its detailed carvings, symmetrical design, and peaceful atmosphere, offering a quieter experience away from the main crowds.

Ta Som is a small 12th-century temple famous for the giant tree roots growing over its eastern gate, creating a dramatic “temple reclaimed by the jungle” scene.

Neak Pean is a small island temple surrounded by tranquil pools, built in the 12th century as a symbolic representation of the mythical Anavatapta lake, believed to have healing powers.

Preah Khan is a vast 12th-century Buddhist temple complex with atmospheric corridors, intricate carvings, and a mix of Hindu and Buddhist influences, originally built as a monastery and school.
