Overview

Once you have been picked up in Glasgow we will head to Kennacraig Ferry Terminal. On the way we will pass Loch Long and Loch Fyne, we will also stop at the Rest and be Thankful to take photographs and have a wee Dram of Whisky. We will stop for lunch at Inveraray prior to reaching Kennacraig Ferry Terminal. During our 4 day tour we will visit and undertake tours of 8 Whisky Distilleries.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Glasgow to Islay⌄

    We will pass Loch Long & Loch Fyne before stopping at the Rest and Be Thankful for photographs and a wee dram.

    On arrival in Inveraray you can have a spot of lunch or if you'd prefer to grab a quick sandwich you may like to visit Inverary Jail. This is also a beautiful place to have a peaceful walk along the shore.

    Pronounced 'cull-eela', the distillery is situated on the North Eastern shores of Islay with magnificent views across the Sound of Islay to the spectacular Paps of Jura.

  2. 2Day 2 - Islay Whisky Tours⌄

    Bowmore Distillery are the first licensed distillery on Islay and home to the oldest Scotch whisky maturation space in the world.

    Kilchoman Distillery are Islay’s Farm Distillery and they distil Scotland’s only Single Farm Single Malt, hand-crafted from barley grown in the surrounding fields and malted on site.

    Bruichladdich Distillery is located on the southwestern tip of the remote Hebridean Island of Islay where they distil four unique spirit.

  3. 3The Big 3⌄

    Laphroiag Distillery was established in 1815.

    For over 200 years, Ardbeg has been made on the small, remote Scottish Isle of Islay. Entry & Tour

    Lagavulin Distillery is situated at the picturesque Lagavulin Bay.

  4. 4Islay to Glasgow⌄

    Bunnahabhain - means ‘mouth of the river’ in Gaelic.
