Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Tbilisi - Kvareli⌄

Our first stop is Gombori Pass which has beautiful views to the valleys. We will enjoy it and take photos.

We will see ruins of Ujarma fortress wich has beautiful views to the river and forests. Ujarma fortress was built by the Georgian-Iberian king Aspagur in the III-IV centuries. In the reign of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the fortress was extended and used as a residence. Fortress was destroyed in the 10th century by the Arabian conqueror Abul Kassim but was restored in the 12th century by King George III who used it as a treasury.

We will visit to two monasteries in the village of Shuamta each of which once was important religious centers in Christian Georgia. Dzveli Shuamta (Old Shuamta) and Akhali Shuamta (New Shuamta) were built in different epochs and differ in the style of their structure. Dzveli Shuamta or Old Shuamta consists of several temples built in the V – VII centuries. The very first of these structures is a small church in the foreground.

In the afternoon we will walk in the streets of Telavi city which is biggest in Kakheti part. After that we will have Georgian traditional lunch with wine.

Gremi was the capital of the Kingdom of Kakheti in the 16th and 17th centuries. It is a 16th-century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels – in Kakheti, Georgia.

Ilia lake is best sightseeing of Kvareli. Surrounded by river and forests it has unique nature and fresh air. Ilia’s Lake was named after Ilia Chavchavadze, a nobleman who is still considered one of the mightiest thinkers in the history of the country

  2. 2Kvareli - Tbilisi⌄

We will start next day visiting winery Khareba, which is largest one in Georgia and will test different sort of wine.

Bodbe Monastery is located 2 km away from Sighnaghi. This place has spectacular views to the Alazani valley so we can enjoy it and take photos.

Sighnaghi is in the heart of Georgia's wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Signaghi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance.
