Day by day itinerary

1. 1Transfer, Game Drive and Masai visit.⌄

   Day 1: Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi, Game Drive + Masai visit. You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam in the morning and start the journey to Mikumi National Park. The drive takes approximately 6 to 7 hours through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Upon arrival in Mikumi, you will start game drive and have lunch inside the park. Explore different areas of the park and enjoy sightings of wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and various bird species. In the evening, you will visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditional way of life. Return to the Camp Bastian for dinner and overnight.

2. 2Transfer to Nyerere National Park and Sunset boat Safari.⌄

   After an early breakfast, depart Mikumi and drive to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), a journey of about 6 to 7 hours through scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and later enjoy a relaxing sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River — a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, birds, and possibly elephants by the riverbanks. Dinner and overnight at the Selous Safari lodge.

3. 3Full day game drive at Nyerere NationalPark.⌄

   After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park with a packed lunch. Explore the vast and wild landscapes of the park, home to a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a wide range of birds. You will enjoy both woodland and riverine habitats during the drive. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

4. 4Walking Safari and transfer to Dar es salaam⌄

   Start your day with an early morning walking safari led by bushman, giving you a unique chance to experience the bush up close and learn about animal tracks, plants, and the ecosystem. After breakfast, begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport. End of tour.
