Meet your driver at your hotel and begin your 2-day/1-night Merzouga Desert tour in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or car. Head to Ifrane, known as Little Switzerland. Next stop Azrou, Berber village in the cedar forest, where you can observe wild monkeys.

For lunch we will stop at the traditional restaurant in the Ziz Valley and then we will continue to Erfoud to explore the fossils and take beautiful photos.

When we arrive in Merzouga, a 4x4 jeep will take us to the luxury camp. Drop off your bags and explore the dessert dunes, greet the camels and go for a camel ride to watch the sunset. In the evening, join the group for a delicious dinner, Berber music and a wood fire. Have fun and enjoy breathtaking views of the stars.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1FES – AZROU – MIDELT – MIDELT – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA⌄

    We will pick you up from your hotel and leave for Merzouga crossing the Middle Atlas and its cedar forests, This mountain range stretches 350 kilometers from the southwest to the northeast of Morocco.

    Ifrane is a city and urban commune in Morocco located in the Middle Atlas, at an altitude of 1,650 meters. Ifrane is nicknamed Little Switzerland because of its architecture, its climate, its landscapes, and the most exclusive ski destination in the country.

    Famous cedar grove, barbary macaques, and wonderful butterflies, the surroundings make a favorite summer attraction for city dwellers, hikers, and picnickers from large neighboring towns.

    Stop for a lunch in Berber restaurant and some great pictures of Berber village.

    The Ziz valley is home to hundreds of kasbah's and ksars which is interesting to explore. Also enjoy panoramic view over Ziz river.

    Erfoud is an oasis town in the Sahara Desert, in the Drâa-Tafilalet region, eastern Morocco. It belongs toait atta tribe.

    Enjoy your ride with 4x4 to desert camp. Leave your luggage and go for a camel ride in desert dunes and enjoy beautiful sunset.

  2. 2MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – MIDELT – FES:⌄

    Today we will wake up early in the morning to enjoy a good breakfast.

    Visit Berber Market. Rissani is a town in Errachidia Province in eastern Morocco, located near Erfoud. It is the closest town of significant size to the Erg Chebbi, the largest sand desert in Morocco.

    Stop for a lunch in Berber restaurant. We continue towards Fez and this will be the end of our private overnight tour. We wish you a safe return to Fes.
