Day by day itinerary

1. 1Arrival at Guwahati airport and travel to Shillong.⌄

   Visit this beautiful lake before reaching Guwahati. It is a reservoir in the hills.

   After check-in to the hotel and than travel to the Laitlum canyon meaning “the End of Hills” situated at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the picturesque view and get lost on your own thoughts.

2. 2Cherrapunji - “wettest” place on earth.⌄

   After visiting wei sawdong waterfall travel to visit this lime stone cave

   This seven sister waterfall is located in sohra. It consist of 7 waterfall and the view is amazing.

   Mawsmai cave is a beautiful lime stone cave and take around 1 hours to visit it. It is located Sohra area.

3. 3Cherrapunji to Nongriat⌄

   Put on your trekking shoes for the day!! Transport to Tyrna village and thereafter it is a trek from Tyrna to the double-decker root bridge at Nongriat. It is “stairway to heaven”. Ater a long day of trekking enjoy and relax overnight stay in a resort in Cherrapunji.

4. 4Cherrapunji to Dawki⌄

   Morning we shall travel from cherrapunji to visit Mawlynnong village which is known as the cleanest village in Asia.We shall also visit the single living root bridge near the village

   After Mawlynnong village we shall travel to Dawki. Dawki river or umngot river is known for clean water. We shall stay overnight in Dawki

5. 5Dawki to Shillong⌄

   Morning after doing boating in umngot river we shall travel to visit Krangshuri waterfall.It is a very beautiful waterfall and known for turquoise water. After that we shall travel to Shillong for overnight stay.

6. 6Shillong to Guwahati - Depurture⌄

   You may do some shopping in Shillong market and travel back to Guwahati and Visit Kamakhya temple. The Kamakhya Temple is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas.With tons of memory say goodbye to Guwahati.
