Day by day itinerary
1Drive from Varanasi- Bodhgaya (250 Kms)⌄
After early morning breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel lobby, proceed for a smooth drive to Bodhgaya. Enroute you will have a couple of pit stops for Snacks, Tea and Wash. On arrival you will be checked in to a decent 3 star hotel located in the close vicinity of the Mahabodhi temple. The Mahabodhi Temple (literally: "Great Awakening Temple"), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an ancient, but much rebuilt and restored, Buddhist temple in Bodh Gaya, marking the location where the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. The site contains a descendant of the Bodhi Tree under which Buddha gained enlightenment, and has been a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists for well over two thousand years, and some elements probably date to the period of Ashoka (died c. 232 BCE). What is now visible on the ground essentially dates from the 7th century CE, or perhaps somewhat earlier, as well as several major restorations since the 19th century. But the structure now may well incorporate large parts of earlier work, possibly from the 2nd or 3rd century CE.
It is considered to be the dependent of the tree under which prince Siddharth meditated and later knows as Lord Budhha after attaining enlightenment.
Sujata Stupa, also Sujata Kuti stupa or Sujata Garh, is a Buddhist stupa located in the village of Senanigrama (Bakraur) slightly east of Bodh Gaya in the state of Bihar, India. It lies directly across the Phalgu River from the town of Bodh Gaya, where Gautama Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. It is a walk of about 20 minutes, from Bodh Gaya to Sujata Stupa. It was initially built in the 2nd century BCE as confirmed by finds of Dark Grey polished wares and a punch-marked coin in the monastery nearby.
This is a monastery built by Japanese.

2Day Trip to Rajgir and Nalanda (170 Kms Both Round Trip)⌄

Today you will visit the International Peace Pagoda situated on a hill which will be reached by a Cable car.
Gridhhakuta also know as The Vulture Peak , also known as the Holy Eagle Peak or Gádhrakúta, was the Buddha’s favorite retreat in Rajagaha (now Rajgir) and the scene for many of his discourses. Rajgir is located in Bihar, India. It is so named because it resembles a sitting vulture with its wings folded.
You will get a chance to visit the hot spring of Rajgir, which has high medicinal benefit specially for the patient of skin diseases.
Nalanda is famous for one of the oldest university in the world which was destroyed by the ruler Bakhtiyar Khilji in 1193 CE. Currently it is under conservation of UNESCO world heritage.
