Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the valley’s unique ecosystem, native flora and fauna, and the importance of the wax palm, Colombia’s national tree. With a little luck, you may even spot an Andean Condor soaring above the mountains. This experience brings together nature, adventure, and breathtaking scenery—perfect for travelers seeking to discover the authentic beauty of Colombia’s Coffee Region.

   After exploring the breathtaking Cocora Valley, we’ll continue to the colorful town of Salento, where you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch featuring some of the Coffee Region’s favorite flavors. Choose from fresh trout and regional specialties such as sancocho, bandeja paisa, and other local dishes. After lunch, stroll through Salento’s charming streets, admire its traditional architecture and colorful balconies, and discover local artisan shops filled with handcrafted products and souvenirs. You’ll also have time to enjoy an excellent Colombian coffee and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this iconic Coffee Region town. Combining gastronomy, culture, local traditions, and everyday life, this visit offers an authentic taste of Salento and its warm hospitality.

   Our day concludes in the charming town of Filandia, one of the Coffee Region’s most authentic and beautifully preserved villages. Stroll through its colorful streets, admire the traditional architecture, and discover unique handcrafted creations made by talented local artisans. Take time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful viewpoints offering panoramic views across the rolling mountains of the Colombian Andes. If you wish, enjoy a local dessert or a freshly brewed Colombian coffee while soaking in Filandia’s relaxed atmosphere.    Discover Colombia’s rich coffee culture with a visit to an authentic family-owned coffee farm in the heart of the Coffee Region. Follow the fascinating journey from seed to cup as you learn how coffee is planted, grown, harvested, selected, processed, dried, roasted, and finally prepared. Walk through the coffee plantation, discover how ripe coffee cherries are carefully selected, and, when in season, experience picking them yourself alongside local coffee growers. To complete the experience, learn how the final cup is prepared and savor freshly brewed Colombian coffee surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Coffee Region. More than a coffee tour, this is an opportunity to understand the knowledge, dedication, and traditions behind every cup.

   After the coffee farm experience, we’ll enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch before continuing to the Santa Rosa Hot Springs, the perfect place to relax and recharge. Surrounded by lush mountain landscapes, unwind in naturally warm thermal pools and let the soothing waters relax your body after two days of exploring the Coffee Region. You’ll also have the opportunity to admire the spectacular waterfall surrounded by tropical vegetation, a beautiful setting to enjoy nature and capture memorable photographs.
