Overview
Kapama Private Game Reserve is located in the heart of the safari hub of South Africa, adjacent to the Greater Kruger Park and close to the main tourist attractions in Hoedspruit. Kapama River Lodge is the largest safari lodge in the 13 000-hectare protected wilderness reserve
and is ideally suited for families, groups of friends and younger couples.
Kapama is a fenced private game reserve between the Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park and is located adjacent to the Greater Kruger. The Kapama and Klaserie rivers cut through the reserve, which in turn draws an abundance of animals and birds to their lush banks, making Kapama the perfect destination for people with a love of wildlife and photography.

Guests are collected from OR Tambo International Airport. The route to Kapama Private Game Reserve in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment, and through the scenic Lowveld region. Arrive at Kapama mid-day, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late afternoon game drive in the reserve.

2Kapama Private Game Reserve⌄
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama. Depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve.
