Your adventure begins in the afternoon at 4:30 pm with a scenic drive into the mountains. Get to a quiet campsite in Hierve el Agua, enjoy the evening, savor a delicious local dinner as night falls and fall asleep surrounded by nature beneath the stars.
Wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise paint the mountains in gold — a truly magical sight. Savor a freshly prepared breakfast. Afterward, we’ll hike the full circuit trail around stunning rock formations, hike down to see them from below. We'll continue the hike up to stunning view points. Finish the hike by the mineral-rich spring pools and take a refreshing swim.
After your adventure, we’ll head to Tlacolula Market, one of Oaxaca’s most vibrant and authentic markets. There, you’ll enjoy a delicious Oaxacan lunch, with options like barbacoa, huaraches, tlayudas, quesadillas, memelas — the perfect way to celebrate the end of your journey.

1Camping Beneath the Stars⌄
MEET UP: Meet in the late afternoon to begin your journey. 1:30 hr drive southeast from Oaxaca. This itinerary is crafted so that it doesn't not get in the way with your other plans in town.
SET UP CAMP (GEAR INCLUDED): Worry-free camping: Tent, warm sleeping bag and comfy sleeping mat will be provided. The team will set up your tent while you enjoy the evening.
FREE TIME: Enjoy the beautiful views after sunset and spend the evening in Hierve el Agua as night falls
DINNER (INCLUDED): Savor a delicious dinner at a local eatery and enjoy the evening.
SLEEP TIME: Fall asleep beneath the stars surrounded by nature.

Overnight: Overnight at Hierve el Agua campsite. Worry-free camping: Tent, warm sleeping bag, comfy sleeping mat will be provided

LUNCH: Enjoy a delicious lunch in the bustling market of Tlacolula. Try barbacoa, huaraches, memelitas, quesadillas. (Lunch NOT included) Return to Oaxaca city at 2 pm approx.
