Experience the thrill of sleeping suspended between trees in the largest protected area of Le Marche.
The natural park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi, a jewel of biodiversity with its 105 species of nesting birds, 40 species of mammals, 29 reptiles and amphibians and over 1250 plant species! Day by day itinerary
1Ride to the Tree Tents Camp⌄
The tour starts from Fabriano. You will be riding along the Giano river through a single track. You will be fully immersed in the nature and you will go through and visit few abbandoned villages.
You will pass by the Abazzia San Vittore Delle Chiuse, an abbey from 1060 ac. There will take a break at the local bar.
After having stopped to Sentino River for a refreshing bath, we will go to visit the Tempio del Valadier and Eremo di Santa Maria Infrasaxa. These are respectevely a temple and a sanctuary which are sited into a cave and built into a crafted rock. We will have 10 min walk uphill and reach these amazing place. The atmosphire here is magic.
You will be crossing this village full of legend.
Meals: Dinner: Glass of wine with antipasti + Two courses meal served in the wood.
Overnight: You will be sleeping in the Eco-Camp, hanging on trees in our tree tents
2Ride back to Fabriano⌄
You will be riding down to Genga village. Before to visit the old "borgo" we will stop in Vallescappuccia, a cave rich in biodiversity.
We will ride through the hilly gravel road and pass by Vallemontagnana, one of the villages surrounding Fabriano. Finally we will ride down until we get back to Fabriano with a lovely landscape of the valley.
