While on the Isle of Lewis and Harris, you'll explore historic locations such as the 5000-year-old Callanish Standing Stones and the 2000-year-old Duncarloway Broch, a type of structure only found in Scotland.

Harris is full of wonderful landscapes and beaches, and we'll get you out to Luskentyre, one of the most beautiful in the country.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Woodland Walks and the Scottish Highlands⌄

    Take a walk and discover stunning Highland waterfalls found between towering Douglas firs

    Try a dram or two of whisky at Dalwhinnie Distillery. We'll have time here to wander around the shop and try some "Water of Life" at the bar!

    We'll stop for lunch in the Highland town of Aviemore. It's stunning scenery will blow you away, and you'll have time after lunch to explore some of your surroundings.

    Visit Culloden Battlefield to learn about the Jacobite Uprising civil war and the young pretender, Bonnie Prince Charlie!

    Visit this ancient burial site that dates back to 4,000 years ago.

    Spend the first night of the trip in Inverness, the esteemed capital of the Highlands of Scotland.

  2. 2Beaches, Gorges and the Ferry to Lewis and Harris⌄

    Discover the natural wonder of Corrieshalloch Gorge

    Visit the town of Ullapool in the Highlands of Scotland, where you'll then hop aboard the Ferry to the wonderful Isle of Lewis and Harris

    Take a walk along the sand dunes on one of the most beautiful beached in Scotland at Luskentyre when you arrive on the Isle of Lewis and Harris

  3. 3Day of Adventure on the Isle of Lewis and Harris⌄

    Visit the largest town of the Island and explore the many beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants or take a walk around the country park grounds of Lews Castle

    Visit the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse and go for a gorgeous cliff walk where you'll get the chance to see many Seabirds and enjoy gorgeous views looking out to sea

    Visit this historic village and discover the ancient style of homes that the villagers would have lived in 100's of years ago

    Visit a uniquely Scottish piece of history as you explore the ruins of Dun Carloway Broch. An ancient style of structure dating back over 2000 years that many experts believe to be an ancient style of cylindrical Scottish Castle

    One of the most impressive set of Standing stones to be found anywhere in the world! Callanish Standing Stones date back to over 5000 years ago and you'll get the chance to walk among them and feel like Claire from Outlander

  4. 4Waterfalls, Walks and Whisky⌄

    You'll depart the town of Stornoway on the ferry and travel across the sea, enjoying lovely Island and coastal views on your way to the Highland town of Ullapool

    We'll visit this wonderful geological nature reserve and go for a beautiful short hike where you'll get amazing views looking out over the Highlands of Scotland

    You'll get the chance to go for a beautiful short walk to discover the Highland Waterfalls of the Falls of Shin

    You've explored some of the most amazing locations in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, now it's your time to taste some of the most delicious "Water of Life" in the Highlands of Scotland as you have the chance to visit Glenmorangie Distillery for a tour and tasting

    You'll arrive back in the Inverness area to enjoy some free time for dinner

  5. 5Loch Ness, Highlands and back home⌄

    Get the chance to hop aboard a boat and take a Cruise on the famous waters of Loch Ness where you should keep an eye out for Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster

    Explore one of the most dramatic and stunning locations in the whole of the Scottish Highlands as you venture through the valley of Glencoe

    Travel through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and discover some of what makes this area of Scotland one of the most amazing in the country.
