Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez⌄

    Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from Tangier. Drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen

    Enjoy approximately 4 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. Wander through the charming, blue-painted streets, discover lively squares, and browse local artisan shops. You will also have plenty of time to sit down and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

  2. 2Day 2: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga - Erg Chebbi⌄

    After breakfast, depart from Fez and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains

    Pass by Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques

    Short stop - Walk through the ancient cedar forest and see the wild Barbary macaque monkeys. (Note: Interacting is possible, but caution is advised).

    Relaxing lunch break nestled between the Middle and High Atlas ranges. Please note: Lunch is optional and not included in the price; a restaurant will be suggested.

    Scenic drive through the Ziz River canyon and down into the massive Ziz Valley, admiring views of vast date palm groves and traditional fortified Berber villages.

    Pass through Merzouga.

    Arrive in the late afternoon. Depending on timing, relax briefly at your desert camp and enjoy your desert camp activities.

  3. 3Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech⌄

    Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return back to the camp. After breakfast, begin your journey to Marrakech. Visit the impressive Todra Gorges and pass through the Dades Valley and the famous “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.”

    Continue your drive via Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.

    Ascend and cross the dramatic Tizi n'Tichka Pass—the highest major mountain pass in North Africa—offering changing views from arid slopes to rugged peaks.

    Arrive in Marrakech at approximately 20:00-8:00 PM (more or less), where your desert tour concludes.
