Day by day itinerary
1Las Vegas --- Grand Canyon National Park⌄
Begin your morning with a convenient hotel pickup from the Las Vegas Strip. Relax on board as we drive through the sweeping desert landscapes toward our first highlight—Grand Canyon National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy plenty of time to wander along the scenic rim, where the mighty Colorado River carves its way through dramatic cliffs of red, gold, and ochre. With every step and every viewpoint, the canyon reveals new angles and shifting colors as the sunlight dances across its vast walls, making the landscape feel alive and ever-changing.
Overnight: Best Western Plus at Lake Powell / Super 8 Page or similar
2Lower Antelope Canyon --- Horseshoe Bend --- Zion National Park --- Las Vegas⌄
Located in northern Arizona, Antelope Canyon is one of the world’s most famous slot canyons. It was formed over millions of years as soft sandstone was sculpted by flash floods and wind erosion. During the monsoon season, heavy rains send torrents rushing through the narrow passageways, creating unique vertical erosion patterns that shape the canyon walls into smooth, flowing lines of stone. Entering the canyon feels like stepping into a breathtaking natural art gallery. The sandstone walls rise in layered formations, their colors shifting with the changing light—ranging from fiery orange-red to deep golden-purple. Sunbeams piercing through the narrow openings create surreal patterns of light and shadow, leaving every visitor mesmerized. • Lower Antelope Canyon: Known for its smoother, flowing rock formations and dreamlike atmosphere, with fewer crowds and stairways that add to the sense of adventure.
Horseshoe Bend is one of the seven best photography spots in the United States selected by National Geographic magazine. The dense water grass on the Colorado Riverbed makes the river water appear fluorescent green under sunlight. The river turns 360 degrees in a reddish-brown canyon and cuts out a horseshoe-shaped canyon, hence the name Horseshoe Bend. Standing on the cliff, one can immerse in the breathtaking beauty of the blue water, blue sky, and red rock.
Zion National Park is Utah's most diverse, oldest, and most popular national park. It covers an area of 229 square miles (593 square kilometers) and is a spectacular big canyon with steep giant rocks towering into the clouds. The bottom of the valley is deep and unfathomable, and the canyon is narrow and deep. Standing at the bottom of the valley and looking up at the cliff, the scenery is very magnificent. It is ideal for hiking, wading, and rock climbing (some areas require professional licenses).
Lake Powell spans the border between Arizona and Utah and is one of the most popular inland water recreational hotspots in the United States. This is not only because of its grand area of nearly 658 square kilometers but also because of the fascinating geological wonders surrounding its shoreline.
