Day by day itinerary

1. 1Athens - Corinth Canal - Epidaurus - Mycenae - Olympia⌄

   20-minute stop for photos of the Canal that connects the Saronic Gulf with the Corinthian Gulf.

   Mycenae: Archaeological area visit. Gate of the Lions. Cyclopean Walls, Royal Tombs (excavations by E. Sliman). Treasure of Atreus (Royal tomb of Agamemnon). Visit the local Museum

   Visit of the classical theater of the 4th century BC. Known for its harmony and its splendid acoustics.

   Departure from Epidaurus and travel to Olympia with overnight.

   Meals: Dinner

   Overnight: Accommodation in Olympia in 3 or 4 star hotel

2. 2Olympia - Delfos⌄

   Morning tour at the archeological site. Visit at the Olympic Sanctuary Stadium, Temple of Era, Temple of Zeus and the athletic facilities.

   Visit of the Museum with the treasures of Olympia, including the splendid statue of Hermes by the great sculptor Praxiteles.

   We depart from Olympia bound to Delphi. We cross the bridge of the Rio - Antirrio. The bridge connects the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland through the Corinth Strait. The bridge, with a length of 2,883 meters, required unique techniques to protect its structure in extreme conditions.

   Journey to Delphi

3. 3Delphi - Athens⌄

   Tour at the archaeological site of Delphi. Via Sacra, Treasury of Athens, Temple of Apollo. Panoramic view from the height of the local theater.

   Tour to the museum. In the local Museum the bronze figure called "L’auriga de Delphi" predominates, representing a young Delphic athlete in the oldest empty bronze.

   Pass by the town of Arachova, famous for its local crafts.

   Return to Athens
