Day by day itinerary

1. 1Cappadocia to Ephesus⌄

   Transfer from your Cappadocia hotel to Nevşehir or Kayseri airport for a flight to Izmir. Transfer to Selcuk

   Gözleme (traditional pancake) cooking demonstration and lunch

   One of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. See the last remaining column from this huge temple complex

   This elegant 14th century mosque marks the architectural transition between Seljuk and Ottoman styles. Look out for the beautıful Iznik tiles around the rim of the domes and the fascinating collection of carved headstones in the courtyard

   Here you will fınd artifacts from archaeological digs at Ephesus, The Basilica of St. John, Temple of Artemis, the Belevi Mausoleum, and the other local ruins.

   Maybe the prettiest village in Turkey, Şirince is famous for its fruit - especially when turned into wine. Enjoy the rare and charming Ottoman Christian architecture as you sip a glass or two.

   In the late afternoon after the tourist crowd leaves the site, visit the shops, homes, restaurants and hotspots of ancient Ephesus.

   Meals: Lunch: Watch a gözleme (traditional pancake) demonstration and eat the lesson · Dinner: Hosted by a local family in their village house - light the fire pit and help prepare traditional meze.

   Overnight: Overnight at Akay Hotel (3 star) or similar

   Your tour finishes in Selcuk after breakfast. We will be happy to assist with other interesting activities in the region or elsewhere in Turkey.
