Here, you'll step into the world of Kyrgyz nomads—meet local shepherds, savor authentic traditional cuisine, and, as night falls, be mesmerized by the brilliance of the starry sky. This tour offers not just a glimpse but a full immersion into the cultural and historical treasures of Kyrgyzstan, set against a backdrop of breathtaking natural beauty.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Bishkek - Burana Tower - Song Kul Lake⌄

    We will depart early in the morning from Bishkek to begin our journey to Song Kul Lake. On the way, we will make a stop at the historic Burana Tower and open-air historical and archaeological museum.

    Scenic stop at the stunning Orto-Tokoy reservoir. After a long drive, we'll stretch our legs and take in the breathtaking views.

    We’ll head to Son-Kul via the most popular and easily accessible pass — Kalmak-Ashuu (on the northeastern side of the lake). We’ll stop there as well to breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the stunning alpine scenery."

    We’ll arrive at the lake by evening. Before dinner, you can take a walk along the lakeshore and admire the beautiful meadows filled with edelweiss and other wildflowers. If you enjoy horseback riding, you can rent a horse for a ride. At night, after 10 PM, the lights are turned off everywhere, and on a clear night, you can marvel at the stunning starry sky and the Milky Way at an altitude of 3016 meters above sea level.

  2. 2Free Time and Departure to Bishkek⌄

    After breakfast at the yurt camp, you will have free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Song Kul Lake. Take a leisurely walk around the lake, go horse riding, or embark on an easy hike. You can also simply relax and take in the stunning natural scenery. At 14:30, we will depart from Song Kul Lake and make our way back to Bishkek.
