With a university education in tourism & hospitality, the Murchison Falls Rahanga multi-day tour is a perfect introduction to Uganda for first-time visitors looking to see all Uganda has to offer, as well as veterans looking to be reunited with Uganda's quintessential beauty. As the largest park in Uganda, Murchison Falls has almost all of Africa's major mammals. It is a Lion conservation unit and has one of the largest populations of Roskilde Giraffes in Africa. The parks consist of vast savannah grasslands and also great forests like Budongo. Murchison Falls National Park is best known, though, for the most powerful waterfall in the world. Every second, the equivalent of 200 bathtubs full overflows from its gorge. There are various large mammals to be sighted such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and leopards. The park also boasts iconic birds, like the grey crowned crane and shoebill.
Day by day itinerary
1Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park⌄
On day one, participants will accompany Charles, our experienced guide, on: - Transport from Entebbe to the Murchison Falls (8-hour drive) - A walking tour of Murchison Falls Park's Savanna Grassland
Overnight: Overnight at a selection of top-notch eco-safari lodges in Murchison Falls Park Campground.
2Murchison Falls National Park⌄
On day two, participants will accompany Charles, our experienced guide, on: - A Boat Cruise on the Albert Nile - A Wildlife Safari Game Drive
Overnight: Overnight at a selection of top-notch eco-safari lodges in Murchison Falls Park Campground.
3Murchison Falls National Park⌄
On day three, participants will continue their tour with Charles, our experienced guide, on: - A Sunset Wildlife Safari Game Drive (Number Two) - A nature excursion of your choice (e.g. bird-watching, rhino trekking, etc)
Overnight: Overnight at a selection of top-notch eco-safari lodges in Murchison Falls Park Campground.
4Murchison Falls National Park- Kampala⌄
On your final day, participants will continue their tour with Charles, our experienced guide, on a safe journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
