Discover the Beaujolais region, taste natural Beaujolais wine, share a delicious dinner with a Sommelier, try your hand at a French recipe, you'll have everything during the intense weekend.
Our Foodie weekend is a unique opportunity to spend time with a private sommelier and unravel the mystery of French wine!
Day by day itinerary
1Discover Beaujolais wines⌄
We'll start with a guided walk in the vineyard with astonishing views over the Beaujolais region. Then we'll taste Beaujolais wines and discover the different terroirs of the region. The tasting will be accompanied with local produces and specialties of Beaujolais.
Take your time to get comfortable in your independant flat. In the afternoon, discover the village of Ouroux on your own, enjoy a walk in the forest or simply rest in the calm of the countryside.
Mélie will prepare a delicious 3 courses dinner, each dish will be accompanied with a different natural wine of France. It will be the occasion to discuss the art of pairing wine and food.
Meals: Lunch: Picinc with local specialties from organic producers · Dinner: Wine pairing dinner
Overnight: One night in a 2 bedroom flat with astonishing view over the countryside
2Cooking time⌄
Enjoy a breakfast "à la française" in the morning, delivered at your door between 8 and 9:30 am in a hamper basket.
Learn a traditional French recipe of your choice among Mélie's specialties. All levels workshops.
Shared lunch at the table to taste your creation and a glass of wine to pair with. Departure before 3pm.

Ends: Departure from Mélie's house in Deux-Grosnes, where you'll spend the night and do the cooking session
