Day by day itinerary
1Puerto Montt - Llanquihue National Reserve⌄
Departure 12:00pm Puerto Montt-Llanquihue National Park-V. Calbuco Refuge. Today we will hike approximately 3 hours through Alerce forest to reach the refuge, rest, have dinner and sleep, and set off in the early morning of the following day to the summit.

Overnight: Calbuco volcano shelter in a sleeping bag indoors
2Calbuco Volcano Refuge Summit Attempt Return to Car⌄
4:00 am V. Calbuco Refuge summit - Car. It is a demanding but rewarding day as we attempt to reach the summit, including snow hiking and rock climbing, before returning to the car. (12 to 14 hours)
