Your journey begins with a scenic 5–6 hour drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan, passing through lush hills, winding rivers, and charming rural villages. Upon arrival at your jungle lodge, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and given a brief orientation about the activities ahead. As the day draws to a close, head to the Rapti River to witness one of Chitwan’s most breathtaking sunsets, where the sky reflects brilliant shades of orange and gold over the tranquil waters. In the evening, enjoy a lively Tharu cultural dance performance at your lodge, followed by a delicious dinner prepared with local flavors.
Meals: Lunch: Lunch can be offered inside the hotel only in Chitwan, so if you want to eat outside, it's completely excluded. · Dinner

2Canoe Ride, Elephant Breeding Center & Jeep Safari in Chitwan National Park⌄
Start your day with a serene canoe ride along the tranquil Rapti River, a perfect way to experience Chitwan’s rich wildlife from the water. Paddling quietly through the lush riverbanks, you’ll spot rare marsh mugger and gharial crocodiles basking in the sun. The river is also a haven for birdwatchers — keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers, egrets, and other colorful water birds. The peaceful river journey offers a unique perspective on the park’s diverse ecosystem and a chance to observe animals in their natural habitat without disturbance.
After your canoe ride, visit the renowned Elephant Breeding Center, a government-run facility dedicated to the conservation and breeding of Asian elephants. Here, you’ll learn about the lifecycle, care, and training of these majestic creatures. See young elephants playing and bathing, and hear from expert handlers about the important role elephants play in Chitwan’s jungle ecosystem. This visit offers a rare opportunity to connect closely with wildlife conservation efforts in Nepal.
Following a relaxing lunch and some rest at your lodge, prepare for an exciting jeep safari deep inside Chitwan National Park. Accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide, you’ll traverse dense forests and open grasslands in search of wildlife such as the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, spotted deer, wild boars, monkeys, and with luck, the elusive Bengal tiger. This thrilling jeep safari provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and unforgettable encounters with nature.
