Overview
8 days tanzania tour seeing the Great Wildebeests Migration, the Africa’s most famous and world’s largest wildlife migration with chances of seeing them crossing the Mara River along the border of Northern Tanzania (Serengeti) and Southern Kenya (Maasai Mara).
The best time to see the crossing is between July to Mid October. The Mara River crossings are not a single event, rather crossings occur throughout the dry season (July to October). Groups varying in size from a few hundreds to tens of thousands cross the river in both directions.
In addition to seeing the migration, you will witness other incredible wildlife in their natural habitat including the "Big Five". Apart from Serengeti, you will also visit other remarkable destinations like Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire & Lake Manyara.
This safari can also be a blend of wildlife viewing, cultural immersion encounters, recreational adventures, environmental education and or community based programs.
Day by day itinerary
1Arrival Arusha⌄
Our guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight stay. You may opt to experience a tour of Arusha city with our guide (no cost). Be sure to rest in preparation for your safari tomorrow!

2Arusha - Tarangire National Park⌄
Today you'll be picked up from the lodge early in the morning to start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park. You will carry a boxed lunch to eat along the way.Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah plains. We may have the experience of watching a lion stalking her prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above. After the game drive you’ll make your way to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay

3Tarangire to Serengeti National Park⌄
After breakfast, you will make your way into the central Serengeti for a game drive. You’ll eat lunch inside the park and continue your game drive into the afternoon before reaching your camp.

4Serengeti National Park Full Day⌄
After an early breakfast, you’ll make your way to the northern Serengeti and the Mara River to see the Great Migration. Our safari guide will be sure to find the best spot.

5Serengeti National Park Full day⌄
Get up early and enjoy breakfast before continuing with your game drive to see the Great Migration. Later we will drive back to the central area of the park for our overnight stay. The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River to the Masai Mara in Kenya. The best time to visit is from July to early October every year.

6Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater⌄
After breakfast we’ll make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater with lunch boxes in hand for another game drive.This park consists of the largest, uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. About 30,000 large mammals reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. A large variety of birds also all the crater home

7Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara National Park⌄
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara with a lunch box in hand. Once we finish our game drive here, you will be transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay.

8Lake Manyara to Arusha⌄
After breakfast you’ll relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour in Arusha for some shopping. Later you’ll be transferred to the airport to finish your adventure.Lake Manyara is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among the tree branches, and the numerous baboon colonies that populate the forest. The baboons will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
