Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Pick-up. Museum and Joshua Tree National Park. Check in to the hotel of your choice⌄

    Historic place that features over 100 years of history as told through the life of Cabot Yerba. The pueblo houses artifacts from his life including journeys to Alaska, Cuba, WWI, France, and his homestead in Desert Hot Springs

    About 1.5 miles loop past Wonderland of Rocks, desert scrub and reservoir dam built in 1900

    WE ONLY MAKE A STOP HERE WITHOUT CLIMBING THE ROCK! Intersection Rock is a prominent feature in Joshua Tree National Park, located in California. It serves as a popular climbing destination for rock climbers of all skill levels. The rock formation got its name from its intersection with the main road leading to Hidden Valley Campground. Over the years, Intersection Rock has become an iconic symbol of the park and a favorite spot for climbers to test their skills.

    Scenic 1-mile hiking loop with huge rock formations to climb and views of Joshua trees and desert areas

    Short trail through desert scrub dotted with Joshua and juniper trees, plus huge monzogranite rocks

    Great place for watching sunset. Scenic spot offering panoramic views of mountains, the San Andreas Fault and Coachella Valley

    On the 2nd day after checking out from the hotel we drive back to Joshua tree National Park and take this hike. It's 3-mile round trip desert path up & over a steep ridge to a scenic oasis with fan palms

    Large natural rock formation, some 30 ft. across, along the 0.5 miles Arch Rock desert loop trail
