Bishkek – Burana Tower Our guide will meet the guests in Bishkek and begin the journey to Burana Tower, located approximately 1.5 hours away. Along the route, guests can enjoy views of rural landscapes and traditional Kyrgyz villages.

Upon arrival, guests will explore the historic Burana Tower, a 10th-century minaret and one of the oldest architectural monuments in Kyrgyzstan. The site includes ancient balbals (stone figures), petroglyphs, and a small museum showcasing artifacts from the Karakhanid era. Guests can also climb the tower for panoramic views of the Chüy Valley.

Next, we will continue to Boom Gorge, a stunning natural landmark carved by the Chu River. Known for its dramatic cliffs and lush landscapes, the gorge offers a scenic drive through rugged terrain, providing guests with the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It’s a perfect spot for photos and appreciating the raw beauty of Kyrgyzstan’s nature.

On the way to Bokonbaevo, we will stop at Orto-Tokoy Reservoir, the first artificial reservoir in Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded by arid hills and steppe landscapes, it provides a striking contrast to the lush mountain scenery of the region. This stop offers a great opportunity to take photos and appreciate the reservoir’s role in local agriculture and water supply.

A local berkutchi (eagle hunter) will showcase the centuries-old art of hunting with golden eagles, offering insights into this fascinating nomadic tradition. After the eagle show, guests will settle into a guesthouse or yurt camp for an overnight stay, enjoying the warm hospitality of the local community and a homemade Kyrgyz dinner.
