3 Days Tsavo East and Saltlick Lodge Safari from Diani Beach

Overview

Day by day itinerary

1. 1Diani/Mombasa/Watamu/Malindi to Tsavo East⌄

   You will be picked from your Hotel by your driver at 6:30 am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Buchuma gate in Tsavo East at around 10:00 am. Here you will begin your game drive. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by British Army 1952 during Colonial time.) You will see many elephants, man eating lions, buffaloes, zebras etc. You will continue the game drive up to 1:30 pm when you will go to the lodge (void wildlife lodge/ngutuni lodge or similar) where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch you relax for 2 hours and then head out for a game drive in the park searching for lions, Ostriches, Gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight

   Overnight: Overnight at voi wildlife lodge/ngutuni lodge or similar lodge in Tsavo East

2. 2Tsavo East to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary⌄

   Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Tsavo east National park. Around 9:30 am you will leave the park and head to Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary. You will arrive at Taita Hills at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at Saltlick Lodge, check in and relax up to 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

   Overnight: overnight at saltlick safari lodge/taita hills resort or similar lodge in taita hills

3. 3Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary to Diani/Mombasa/Watamu/Malindi⌄

   Wake up and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, Gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife until 8:00 am, then come back to the lodge for breakfast. Then You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey back. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani/Watamu/Malindi at around 2:00 pm you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is the end of your safari.
