Your adventure begins with a comfortable overnight bus trip from Bogotá to El Cocuy. Upon arrival the next morning, we'll head into the park, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the páramo ecosystem and the unique frailejones. After a quick park registration, we’ll start a scenic acclimatization hike, learning about the fragile ecosystem from our local guide. You'll soak in the serene Andean wilderness before settling into our cozy lodge for a warm meal and a well-deserved night's rest, preparing you for the rewarding trek ahead.

2El Cocuy⌄
Start your day with an early breakfast to prepare for an epic adventure. By 4:30 am, you'll drive to the trailhead to begin your hike. This journey, lasting 8 to 10 hours depending on your pace, takes you through the stunning Valle de Los Frailejones, a unique high-altitude páramo ecosystem. As you ascend to the big lagoon at 4,400 meters, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views. Continue to the Púlpito del Diablo, where you’ll stand on the edge of the Pan de Azúcar summit, enjoying panoramic vistas that stretch endlessly. Take a break for lunch on the trail to recharge before descending back to El Cocuy.
