1. 1Your Adventure Begins⌄

   Kick off your day with a comfortable pickup from Johannesburg between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM in a luxury, air-conditioned vehicle. By 9 AM, you’ll arrive at Pilanesberg National Park—just in time for a thrilling 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, where you’ll have the chance to spot the legendary Big Five. At midday, check in at the beautiful Bakubung Lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. Spend the early afternoon relaxing—take in the views, lounge by the pool, or simply recharge. As the day cools, head out on a breathtaking open-vehicle sunset safari from 4 PM to 7 PM. Chase golden horizons and encounter wildlife in their most active hours. Return to the lodge to indulge in a flavourful African-style dinner, the perfect ending to a day in the wild.

2. 2Morning Safari and Departure⌄

   Rise early for an unforgettable 3-hour morning game drive hosted by the lodge, returning around 9 AM to a hearty breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning unwinding at the lodge—whether you’re soaking up the sun by the pool or enjoying the serene surroundings, it’s pure bliss. At 12 PM, you can hop on a short closed-vehicle game drive for one last wildlife encounter, or simply relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere (pickup is at 2:30 PM if you're skipping the drive). Depart Pilanesberg at 3 PM, with your return to Johannesburg scheduled between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Need an airport drop-off by 6 PM? No problem—just share your flight details with our team in advance!
