Day by day itinerary

1. 1Overnight VIP Bus Journey from La Paz to Uyuni⌄

   Check in at the Todo Turismo Bus Office in La Paz at 8:30 p.m. before boarding your VIP overnight bus departing at 9:00 p.m. Travel comfortably to Uyuni with reclining seats, Starlink Wi-Fi, onboard restroom, heating, polar blankets, dinner, breakfast, bottled water, and hot drinks included. Please note that a terminal tax of 2.50 BOB per person must be paid before departure.

2. 2Uyuni Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island, Creative Photos & Sunset Experience⌄

   Arrive in Uyuni at approximately 7:30 a.m. aboard the Todo Turismo VIP overnight bus from La Paz. Our staff will meet you at the bus office and escort you to a nearby café, where you'll have free time to relax until returning to our office for check-in before your shared 4WD expedition begins at 10:30 a.m. Visit: Train Graveyard – Explore Bolivia's historic locomotives and one of Uyuni's most iconic photo spots. Colchani Village – Visit local salt workshops and browse handicrafts made from salt, alpaca, and llama wool. Uyuni Salt Flats – Journey across the endless white desert and visit: • Saltwater Eyes • Salt Hotel Museum & Playa Blanca • Flags of the World • Dakar Monument Incahuasi Island (Fish Island) – Walk among giant cacti while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views. Creative Photo Session – Capture fun perspective and optical illusion photographs. Sunset Experience – Enjoy a magical sunset with wine and chips. Overnight: Salt hostel in Atulcha.

   Overnight: Second Night - Atulcha Salt Hostel: Shared 6-bed room with your jeep group with shared toilets.

3. 3Volcanoes, High Andean Lagoons, Stone Tree & Red Lagoon⌄

   Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Visit: Chiguana Desert – Cross a spectacular high-altitude desert surrounded by colorful mountains and impressive volcanoes. Ollagüe Volcano Viewpoint – Enjoy breathtaking views of the semi-active Ollagüe Volcano and the surrounding Andean landscapes. High Andean Lagoons – Discover Bolivia's spectacular flamingo habitats, visiting: • Cañapa Lagoon • Hedionda Lagoon • Chiarcota Lagoon Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve – Explore one of Bolivia's most spectacular protected areas, home to volcanoes, colorful deserts, and unique Andean wildlife. Siloli Desert – Travel across one of the world's highest deserts before reaching the famous Stone Tree, an extraordinary volcanic rock formation sculpted by centuries of wind erosion. Red Lagoon (Laguna Colorada) – Admire the lagoon's striking red waters and thousands of flamingos before continuing to your hostel. Overnight: Hostel in Huayllajara or Polques, depending on availability.

   Overnight: Third Night - Huayllajara Hostel: Basic accommodation in a shared 6-bed room with your jeep group, with shared toilets.

4. 4Geysers, Hot Springs, Green Lagoon, Rock Valley & Return to Uyuni⌄

   Early departure at 5:00 a.m. Visit: Sol de Mañana Geysers – Walk among steaming fumaroles, bubbling mud pools, and active geothermal vents in one of Bolivia's most spectacular volcanic landscapes. Polques Hot Springs – Relax in natural thermal waters surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Dalí Desert – Discover a surreal high-altitude desert of colorful rock formations inspired by Salvador Dalí's paintings. Green & White Lagoons – Admire these spectacular lagoons at the foot of the majestic Licancabur Volcano. Rock Valley – Explore a fascinating valley filled with volcanic rock formations sculpted by centuries of wind erosion. San Cristóbal Village – Visit one of southern Bolivia's most historic villages before returning to Uyuni. Arrival in Uyuni – Return between approximately 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. before boarding the Todo Turismo VIP overnight bus to La Paz at 9:00 p.m.

5. 5Arrival in La Paz & End of Your Altiplano Expedition⌄

   Arrive in La Paz between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. at the Todo Turismo Bus Office, depending on traffic and road conditions. This marks the end of your unforgettable five-day journey through Bolivia's spectacular Altiplano, including the Uyuni Salt Flats, colorful lagoons, volcanoes, geysers, and unique high-altitude landscapes.
