Day by day itinerary
1Arrival in Uganda – Africa’s Pearl⌄
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. Transfer to your pre-arranged hotel for rest. For arrivals before 13:00 hrs, an optional evening visit to the Botanical Gardens can be arranged.

2Transfer to Kibale Forest & Entanda Cultural Experience⌄
After breakfast, drive westwards through scenic countryside featuring villages, forests, hills, and tea plantations. Stop at Entanda Cultural Adventure for immersive half-day cultural activities including traditional dances, music, fruit tasting, honey harvesting, traditional food preparation (Luwombo), a guided hunting expedition (non-lethal), and cultural talks led by community elders (Senga and Kojja). After lunch, continue to Fort Portal for overnight stay.

After lunch, enjoy a guided community swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for birdlife, primates, and butterflies. Optional community project participation includes planting an indigenous tree on community land.

4Fort Portal Sights & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park⌄
After breakfast, drive along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Stop at Mabere ga Nyinamwiru to explore stalactites and stalagmites and learn about local folklore.
Enjoy a guided hike offering panoramic views of Fort Portal, crater lakes, volcanic hills, and settlements. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for overnight stay.

5Game Drive, Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise & Cultural Encounter⌄
Early morning game drive in the mating grounds, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, hippos, and birdlife.
After lunch, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, linking Lake Edward and Lake George, renowned for wildlife sightings. Optional: Lion tracking experience with researchers (advance booking required).
Optional Activity: Lion Tracking For an additional US$100 per person, join the research team for an unforgettable lion tracking experience with a 95% chance of close lion sightings. Actively assist in monitoring lions using locator devices while learning about habituation calls, weather conditions, and animal behavior. Your participation directly contributes to wildlife research and conservation. Other experiential activities include Mongoose Tracking, Hippo Census, and Bird Counts. After breakfast, drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions. Continue south through rural Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive in the afternoon and relax in preparation for gorilla tracking.

7Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest⌄
Early breakfast followed by briefing at the park headquarters. Trek through dense rainforest terrain to track mountain gorillas. You are allowed up to one hour with the gorillas once found, though tracking can take several hours. Bwindi is home to diverse wildlife, including primates, birds, mammals, and butterflies.
