Day by day itinerary
1Sacred Valley Full-Day VIP Tour⌄
We will depart from Cusco early, between 6:20 and 6:50 A.M., to begin our exploration of the Sacred Valley. The crisp morning air and clouds hovering over the terraces set the perfect scene. Throughout the day, our guide will share the history and cultural significance of each site, giving plenty of opportunities for photos and to soak in the breathtaking landscapes.
Our first stop is Chinchero at 3,762 meters (12,352 ft). Here, we’ll visit the Textile Interpretation Center and watch local artisans weave alpaca wool. Guests can try spinning wool themselves to experience traditional techniques. A stroll through the village and its colonial church highlights the town’s architecture and local customs.
Next, we’ll head to Moray at 3,500 meters (11,483 ft). The circular terraces showcase how the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates. Walking among the terraces, you’ll notice temperature differences at each level, while the guide explains the engineering brilliance behind Inca agricultural practices.
In the afternoon, we visit Maras, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq. At Maras, explore thousands of traditional salt pools and learn how salt has been harvested for centuries. Lunch will be served in Urubamba with buffet options. Ollantaytambo and Pisaq offer archaeological insights, scenic views, and photo opportunities.
We’ll return to Cusco around 6:30 P.M., ending the day full of memories and amazing photos.
2Ausangate ATV Adventure⌄
We’ll depart from Cusco at 4:00 A.M., heading to Hanchipacha. The sunrise illuminates the peaks and valleys, while the crisp Andean air wakes your senses. Meet local residents and hear stories about life in the Ausangate region, connecting deeply with the culture.
After a 15 minute safety briefing and ATV practice session, we’ll embark on a two hour ATV ride through high trails, deep valleys, and Andean plains, with llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas along the way. A 40–50 minute hike takes us to the start of the trail surrounded by rocks, grasslands, and turquoise lagoons. At the Ausangate viewpoint, admire stunning glaciers and colorful lakes.
