Day by day itinerary

1. 1Day 1: Departure from Santa Marta⌄

   During the trek, travelers will discover lush jungle trails, rivers, waterfalls, panoramic mountain views, coffee farms, ancient archaeological terraces, and traditional indigenous communities hidden deep within the Sierra Nevada. Along the way, they will experience unique landscapes, local culture, and the rich biodiversity of one of Colombia’s most spectacular natural regions.

   Meals: Lunch: Delicious lunch prepared by local farmers from the region. · Dinner: Dinner prepared with local ingredients.

   Overnight: Night stay at a local farming family’s house, where you will enjoy the fresh fruits, food, and coffee

2. 2Day 2: Visit to the sacred and archaeological site of Bunkuany.⌄

   At the sacred site of Bunkuany, travelers will discover ancient stone terraces built by the Tayrona civilization, surrounded by the lush mountains of the Sierra Nevada. This peaceful archaeological site offers a unique connection with indigenous history, nature, and spiritual traditions while enjoying breathtaking views and a less crowded atmosphere than the Lost City trek.

   Meals: Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner: Dinner in a Kogui indigenous community, prepared with entirely local and traditional ingredients.

   Overnight: Overnight stay in a traditional house within a Kogui indigenous community.

3. 3Day 3: Visit to a Kogi people indigenous community.⌄

   Travelers will explore jungle trails surrounded by tropical nature, observe local wildlife, cross rivers, and discover beautiful Caribbean beaches with crystal-clear water, white sand, and giant rock formations where the mountains meet the sea.
