Move to the ancient Temple of the Oracle of Amun (also known as the Temple of Aghurmi). Walk through this world-famous archaeological site where Alexander the Great was declared a god, and learn about its deep Pharaonic and Greek roots.

Explore the ruins of the 13th-century Shali Fortress, an ancient labyrinth city built entirely from a local mix of salt and mud known as karshef. Hike to the top of the castle ruins to watch a spectacular sunset over the old town and palm groves.

Conclude your first evening with a traditional, authentic Siwi dinner at a local restaurant. Enjoy local delicacies before transferring back to your hotel for the night.

Great Sand Sea Take a relaxing break deep in the sand dunes for a specialized, authentic Siwi lunch prepared in the open desert. Try out sandboarding down the massive desert slopes, then watch a peaceful desert sunset while drinking hot tea served with local dates and peanuts.

Travel further into the desert to a traditional Bedouin-style camp. Enjoy a slow-cooked desert BBQ dinner, stay up late listening to traditional Siwi folklore drumming and live music, and take in the pristine, unpolluted views of the starry night sky before returning to your hotel.

  3. 3Day 3: Mountain of the Dead, Salt Lakes & Wellness Springs⌄

Drive out to the world-famous, hyper-saline turquoise salt lakes. Because of the extreme salt concentration, you will float completely effortlessly on the surface, exactly like the Dead Sea. It is a surreal swimming and photography experience.

After floating in the salt lakes, head to the natural hot springs and thermal pools to rinse off, soothe your muscles, and relax in the rejuvenating, mineral-rich waters.

Fatnas Island (Sunset & Shopping) Travel to a picturesque local island to watch your final, stunning sunset over the lake. Afterward, enjoy a farewell dinner and head to the central Shali market square for free time to shop for authentic Siwa souvenirs like organic olive oil, dates, and handmade crafts before your tour officially ends.
