Day by day itinerary
1Sunday — Arrival in Bari and Trani⌄
Arrive at Bari airport or Bari Centrale according to your arrival schedule. A private dedicated minivan transfers you to Trani for a two-night stay in a boutique hotel in the historic centre. At 6:00 pm, meet your licensed local guide by the seafront Romanesque cathedral for a walk through the harbour, medieval town and Jewish quarter. At 7:30 pm, enjoy a welcome aperitif with local products at the harbour. Dinner at leisure; overnight in Trani.

2Monday — Castel del Monte and Moscato di Trani⌄
After breakfast, travel from Trani at 10:00 am to Castel del Monte for a guided visit to the UNESCO-listed fortress. Return to Trani at about 1:00 pm for lunch at leisure. At 4:30 pm, visit a historic winery for a guided tasting of Moscato di Trani DOC and wines from the Murge. Return to the hotel around 6:00 pm.

3Tuesday — Burrata, Olive Oil and Bari at Sunset⌄
After breakfast, depart Trani at 9:00 am. Take part in a hands-on mozzarella and burrata workshop, followed by an olive-oil tasting at a local mill. Arrive in Bari at about 3:00 pm and check in at Hotel Boston or a similar hotel. At 6:00 pm, meet at Piazza Federico II di Svevia by Castello Svevo for a guided sunset walk through Bari Old Town. Evening at leisure; overnight in Bari.

4Wednesday — Alberobello and Polignano a Mare⌄
At 9:00 am, depart Bari for Alberobello. Join a guided walk among the UNESCO-listed trulli, with time to meet local artisans and learn about local traditions. Continue to Polignano a Mare to taste focaccia and special coffee, then walk through the old town and its sea-view terraces. Leave Polignano at about 2:00 pm and return to Bari. Overnight in Bari.

5Thursday — Matera and the Sassi⌄
At 9:00 am, leave Bari for Matera and leave your luggage at the hotel. At 10:30 am, join a guided walk through the Sassi, including a cave dwelling, a rupestrian church and a tasting of Amaro Lucano. The guided visit ends at about 12:30 pm. Free time in Matera for the afternoon and sunset. Overnight in Matera.

6Friday — Lecce Baroque and Papier-Mâché⌄
At 10:00 am, take the private transfer from Matera to Lecce. Check in at Hotel President or a similar hotel and leave your bags. At 4:00 pm, meet at Via Vico de Argentis 16/A for a three-hour guided walk through Lecce Baroque and a papier-mâché workshop. Taste traditional coffee and pasticciotto. Overnight in Lecce.

7Saturday — Otranto and Gallipoli⌄
Depart Lecce at 9:00 am for Otranto. Explore the historic centre by Ape Calessino, including the cathedral and its mosaic floor, narrow lanes and Adriatic views, then enjoy free time. Continue to Gallipoli for lunch at leisure and an afternoon Ape Calessino tour of the old town, its palaces, churches and lanes. Return to Lecce at around 6:00 pm. Evening at leisure; overnight in Lecce.

8Sunday — Taranto and Brindisi⌄
At 9:00 am, depart Lecce for Taranto for a panoramic Ape Calessino tour of the city. At 11:30 am, depart for Brindisi. Overnight in Lecce.
At 11:30 am, leave Taranto for Brindisi and take a guided Apecar tour of the city. Return to Lecce between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. Evening at leisure; overnight in Lecce.

9Monday — Primitivo and Grottaglie Ceramics⌄
At 9:00 am, depart Lecce for Manduria for a guided winery visit and Primitivo tasting. Then travel to Grottaglie to visit a ceramics workshop and take part in a short hands-on activity. Return to Lecce at about 3:30 pm. Evening at leisure; overnight in Lecce.

10Tuesday — Transfer to Bari and Tour Ends⌄
