Day by day itinerary

1. 1Surabaya - Madakaripura Waterfall⌄

   Pick up from Surabaya Airport/ Surabaya Train Station / Surabaya Hotel or Malang Airport/ Malang Train Station / Malang Hotel according to your arrival time

   After departing from Surabaya, you will reach Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you will find a natural 200m height waterfall with many spots relaxing your eyesight.

   Drive to Mount Bromo and check in to your accommodation at Bromo Terrace Hotel & Resto for a one night stay

2. 2Mount Bromo Sunrise - Banyuwangi⌄

   Get ready to be picked up at 2:30 to 3.00 a.m by a 4 WD-vehicle to experience the bumpy road to reach Mt. Penanjakan 1 which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of Bromo sunrise.

   Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mt. Bromo, in a 30 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mt. Batok and the highest mountain in Java Island, Mt. Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit history. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the Yadnya Kasada ceremony, a Tenggerese festival held every 14th of the Kasada month, to honor Sang Hyang Widhi the Almighty God, Roro Anteng the daughter of King Majapahit and Joko Seger the son of Brahmana.

   You will head to Banyuwangi or Bondowoso with a stopover for lunch. You will stay for two nights at eL Hotel Banyuwangi.

3. 3Banyuwangi⌄

   Enjoy a day of freedom and relaxation as you explore the charming town of Banyuwangi, a destination rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Discover some of its well-known attractions such as De Djawatan Forest (Jawatan Benculuk), famous for its towering trembesi trees that resemble an enchanted forest, and the refreshing Jagir Waterfall, a perfect spot to unwind in nature. Visit Telemung Village for a taste of rural life and scenic views of coffee plantations and mountains. Don’t miss Boom Beach, known for its unique black sand and stunning sunset views.

4. 4Mount Ijen - Surabaya⌄

   Get ready in the midnight and we will start the trip by driving you to Paltuding. Afterwards we will begin an hour-long trek to Ijen Crater. Here, you can get the chance to witness the dazzling blue lava-like rivers of light known as the Blue Fire phenomenon.ext, we will explore the crater area and see a panoramic view of Mount Ijen turquoise. At 8 a.m, we will return to Surabaya, Malang or Ketapang port.
