Experience one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal adventures on this unforgettable 6-day journey from Perth to Exmouth. Travel along Western Australia’s world-famous Coral Coast, where ancient landscapes, turquoise waters, rugged national parks, and incredible wildlife create the ultimate bucket-list escape.

Explore the Pinnacles Desert, Kalbarri National Park, Monkey Mia’s wild dolphins, and the natural wonders of Shark Bay. Discover the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, snorkel vibrant coral gardens straight from shore, relax at Turquoise Bay, and choose optional experiences including swimming with Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, or Humpback Whales (seasonal).

Led by experienced local guides in a fun small-group atmosphere, this adventure combines nature, wildlife, marine experiences, and authentic Australian scenery. With accommodation, guided activities, national park fees, and most meals included, it’s the perfect way to experience Western Australia’s Coral Coast.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Perth to Kalbarri National Park⌄

    Take a journey along Western Australia’s Coral Coast, a region known for its stunning natural scenery, diverse wildlife and gorgeous beaches. View sand dunes so white they could be mistaken for snow. After leaving Perth we head north towards the Pinnacles.

    Kick off your adventure with a guided tour through The Pinnacles desert, before enjoying lunch by the sea then journey up Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views. Walking distance approx.1.5km

    After a quick stop in Geraldton and if time permits a visit to the pink lake (seasonal, not guaranteed)

    Then it’s on to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.

  2. 2Kalbarri National Park to Monkey Mia, Shark Bay⌄

    Visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park where water has carved its way through sandstone. Here you have the option to try abseiling (additional cost). Witness bright pops of colour here during wildflower season (spring). Walking distance approx. 3km

    Enjoy a great photo opportunity at Nature’s Window before strolling a beach made entirely of tiny shells.

    Then it’s on to Monkey MIa, via Denham for our accommodation by the beach.

  3. 3Monkey Mia, Shark Bay to Coral Bay⌄

    Monkey Mia is sure to delight with its friendly bottlenose dolphins and other abundant wildlife.This morning meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Enjoy chill out time on the beach here or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before we get back on the road mid-morning.

    We'll visit the fascinating rock formations, the Stromatolites, before settling in to our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef. Walking distance approx. 1km

  4. 4Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef⌄

    You’ll have most of the day to explore the Ningaloo Reef at your own leisure. Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches Coral Bay has to offer.

    Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost) or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore.

    This evening we take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into our accommodation for two nights in the town centre.

  5. 5Exmouth⌄

    Today we explore Cape Range National Park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Walking distance approx.1km.

    Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire $10 and a bond required)

    Visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyering Visitors Center and more before finishing the tour in the late afternoon.

    Or choose to join a whale shark or humpback whale snorkel tour and spend the day meeting some of the Ningaloo Reef’s most famous visitors (own expense and seasonal). There’s also the Navy Pier dive option for those that are certified and have dived in the last 6 months (own expense).

  • A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 75 years (30 days prior to travel).
  • ​​​​The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
  • ​​​While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
  • ​This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
  • ​​Children aged between 6 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
  • ​​​Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
  • ​​Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.
