A houseboat cruise on these backwaters will be a very delightful and unique experience for you!

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Arrive at Aleppey⌄

    Alappuzha (Alleppey) is a landmark between the broad Arabian Sea and the web of rivers flowing into it. It is a town in the Alappuzha District in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Lord Curzon, the Viceroy of the Indian Empire, made a visit to Alappuzha in the early 20th century fascinated by the scenic beauty of the place and said “here nature has spent up on the land her richest bounties”. Day 1: Arrive at the houseboat office at 11:45am (please refer to Departure Point for details). After you check-in, a motor boat will transfer you to board the houseboat at around 12pm. The houseboat will begin slowly cruising through the backwaters and village area of Alappuzha, passing paddy fields and coconut palms. Main meals will be served on board. Stay overnight on the houseboat.

    Day 2: The cruise will finish after breakfast at 9am where you will be dropped back off at the houseboat office.

  • 9 to 10 people: 4-bedroom private boat and 1 to 2 extra mattress(es)
  • There will be 3 staff on board. Houseboat is charged on a per room basis. Therefore, if you booked a 1-bedroom boat but allocated in a 3 or 4-bedroom boat, only 1 bedroom will be allowed for use and other bedrooms will be closed.
