Day by day itinerary

1. 1Zurich Airport Pick-up; Orientation City Tour; Self-Guided Lake Zurich Cruise⌄

   Your driver will welcome you at Zurich Airport. After that, you will start an enlightening city tour, that our knowledgeable driver will show you the highlights of Zurich from your private car, offering stops and entries based on your interests. As you travel through the streets, catch glimpses of iconic landmarks such as the majestic Limmat River, the impressive Fraumünster Church, the renowned Grossmünster and the historic Augustinergasse, a charming lane filled with medieval buildings. Your driver will take you to the hotel after the tour.

   After some rest in the hotel and if time allows, you can walk about 10-15 minutes to the Bürkliplatz pier which is at the end of Bahnhofstrasse. Come and embark on a cruise along the serene waters of Lake Zurich. After a 1.5-hour cruise, walk back to your hotel at your own leisure.

2. 21st Class Train to Lucerne; Explore Lucerne; Train to Interlaken (Self-guided)⌄

   Start your day by taking a scenic train ride from Zurich to Lucerne. The journey takes approximately one hour. Upon arrival at Lucerne train station, you can store your luggage in luggage lockers for convenience. From Lucerne train station, you can take a leisurely self-guided walking tour to explore the charming city, which should take around 2 hours to see. Start by taking a stroll to the iconic Chapel Bridge. Next, head to the Lion Monument, located nearby.

   Afterwards, return to Lucerne train station and continue your train journey to Interlaken, which is the first section of the famous Golden Pass Line. The train ride takes around 2 hours and offers breathtaking views of Switzerland's picturesque landscapes along the way. Upon arriving in Interlaken, walk less than 10 minutes to reach your hotel and take some time to relax.

   In the late afternoon, you can take a scenic boat cruise on Lake Thun surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps. Please board the boat at Interlaken West Boat Station, which is just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The cruise journey takes two hours. After that, return to Interlaken by taking a 30-minute train ride. Another option for late afternoon activity is to take a cruise on Lake Brienz.

3. 3Guided Mountain Excursion to Jungfraujoch by Rail; Visit Grindelwald on the Return⌄

   Your tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby and walk you to the Interlaken Ost station, where you'll embark on a guided excursion to Jungfraujoch by train. Upon arrival, you will have around two to three hours to explore Ice Palace, Sphinx Observatory and Alpine Sensation.

   Afterwards, take a train to Grindelwald, a charming mountain village. You will spend one to two hours strolling through idyllic streets and tasting local cuisine.

   Finally, return to Interlaken Ost. During the whole day journey, your tour guide will escort you, manage the ticket exchange, ensure seamless transfers, share insightful information, and assist with any inquiries you may have.

4. 41st Class Train to Montreux; Visit Chillon Castle; Train to Geneva (Self-guided)⌄

   Today, you will take the Golden Pass Panoramic Train from Interlaken Ost station to Montreux. The train ride offers breathtaking views of Swiss scenery. First-class carriages offer spacious seats and superior comfort. It's advisable to depart early in the morning to maximize your day.

   Upon arriving in Montreux at noon, you can store your luggage at the train station, take bus No. 201 and get off at the "Chillon" stop, or walk about 45 minutes to reach Chillon Castle. This island castle has stood for centuries and is considered one of the most visited historic buildings in Switzerland.

   After your visit, return to Montreux station, collect your luggage, and catch a regional train to Geneva. Upon arrival, go to your hotel, which is just a 10-minute walk away. Refresh yourself at the hotel, then start exploring the vibrant city center. The popular sites are all within walking distance, such as Jet d'Eau Fountain, Flower Clock, St. Peter's Cathedral and Old Town.
