From Marrakech: Zagora 2-Day Desert Safari with Camel, and Camp

Day by day itinerary

1. 1Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate – Zagora⌄

   Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing Berber villages, green valleys, and snow-dusted mountain peaks.

   Visit the ancient mud-brick kasbah, filming location for Game of Thrones and Gladiator. Lunch at a local restaurant.

   You will have a stop here with us to rest before continuing the rest of the road. Pass through Ouarzazate with a short stop at the cinema studio, then continue along the scenic Road to Zagora.

   Continue through Agdez into the lush Draa Valley, passing endless palm groves, kasbahs, and traditional Berber settlements.

   Meet your camel caravan and ride into the rocky desert as the sun sets. Arrive at your private tent and enjoy Moroccan tea, followed by dinner under the stars. End the night with Berber music and campfire entertainment.

   Meals: Dinner

   Overnight: Desert camp (private Standard or Luxury tent -based on your selection-)

2. 2Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech⌄

   Wake early to watch the sunrise over the Rocky-Desert Dune and enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere. After camp breakfast, ride your camel back to the main road where your return journey begins.

   Travel back through the Draa Valley and High Atlas Mountains with stops for lunch and refreshments along the way.

   Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and drop off at your hotel, riad, or preferred location.
