   Proceed to the city of monkeys, "Lopburi." Once part of the Khmer empire and later of the Ayutthaya kingdom, Lopburi is an important historical town and archaeological site. Temples and ruins built by Khmers in the 13th still exist and can be visited along with palaces and other historical monuments dating back to the 17th century when King Nara made Lopburi the second capital of Ayutthaya kingdom.

   Explore Phra Prang Sam Yot, an ancient Khmer temple known for its three connected prangs and the playful monkeys that inhabit the area.

   Visit King Narai's Lopburi Palace, a historical site reflecting a mix of Thai, Khmer, and European architectural influences. Explore the museum within the palace grounds to delve into the region's rich history.

   Continue the journey to Wat Phra Si Ratana Maha That, a significant Buddhist temple housing a revered Buddha image. Discover the cultural and religious significance of this sacred site.
