Are you young or young-at heart, and looking for a social and adventurous travel experience to the Rocky Mountains and Western Canada? Then this is the tour for you! With budget-conscious travellers in mind, this trip focuses on busy days visiting amazing places like the Okanagan Valley, the town of Banff and stops at Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, Jasper and Spahat Falls.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Vancouver - Valemount⌄

    7:00 am Meet your guide at Canada Place and depart Vancouver by 7:15am

    Stop in Hope for a coffee and washroom break

    Travel through the Coquihalla Corrido

    Stop for lunch (own expense) in Kamloops or nearby

    Visit Spahat’s Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park

    Arrive at your hotel in Valemount. Free time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel’s amenities

    Overnight: Overnight stay in Valemount at Vacation Inn or similar

  2. 2Valemount to Golden⌄

    Check out and depart Valemount

    Stop for breakfast at Café Mt. Robson (included). Enjoy views of the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies (weather permitting)

    Continue the journey through the Rockies as you cross from British Columbia to Alberta.

    Stop at the town of Jasper to enjoy some free time to check out local shops

    Travel the scenic Icefields Parkway with amazing views of the Rockies, glaciers, rivers and lakes

    Stop at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre (Optional activity: Ice explorer, additional cost) with time to get lunch (at own expense)

    Visit either Peyto Lake or Bow Lake on your way to Golden

    Check into your hotel in Golden. Free time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel amenities.

  3. 3Golden - Banff - Golden⌄

    Breakfast at hotel

    Depart Golden and travel towards Banff

    visit Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park

    Drive to Lake Louise

    Enjoy a lakeside walk with a picnic lunch (at own expense)

    Visit Moraine Lake (seasonal)

    Enjoy a sightseeing tour in the town of Banff – among the highlights are visits to Banff Ave, Bow Falls and Banff Springs Hotel

    Free time to purchase food, sightseeing and shopping on Banff Avenue. Optional activity: Banff Gondola. Guests that purchase this activity will enjoy a wonderful experience going up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain

    Return to Golden. Enjoy the hotel amenities and join your tour group for outdoor games and fun

  4. 4Golden - Vancouver⌄

    Breakfast in the hotel

    Visit the Golden Skybridge (admission included!) - Adventure awaits at Golden Skybridge, home to Canada’s highest suspension bridges. As you walk 426 feet above an expansive canyon, engulfed by the Columbia Valley, the epic views of the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges will take your breath away.

    Stop at Craigellachie, the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway

    Stop for lunch in Kamloops (own expense)

    Return to Vancouver at approximately 8:00pm
