Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Day 1: Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik City Hotel Accommodation⌄

Welcome to Iceland! After clearing customs, board your airport coach for a comfortable transfer to Reykjavik. Buses depart approximately 35–40 minutes after each arriving flight and are located right outside the terminal building. Enjoy the scenic 45-minute journey across lava fields before reaching the capital. You’ll be dropped near your hotel in Reykjavik. Spend the evening strolling through the city’s cafés, harbor, and shopping streets, or simply relax after your flight.

    Overnight: Hotel in Reykjavik Area

  2. 2Day 2: Golden Circle Wonders and Blue Lagoon⌄

Our first stop is the striking Kerið Crater, known for its red volcanic slopes and vivid blue lake. Formed around 6,500 years ago when a magma chamber collapsed, Kerið’s unique color contrasts make it a photographer’s dream. Walk the crater rim or follow the easy trail to the bottom for different perspectives. In winter, the frozen lake creates a mirror-like reflection of the crater walls — a truly surreal sight.

Gullfoss, or “Golden Falls,” thunders down two tiers into a deep canyon carved by the glacial Hvítá River. Feel the spray on your face as millions of liters of water plunge dramatically over the edge. Well-maintained paths lead to several viewpoints, each offering a new angle of this majestic natural wonder. When sunlight catches the mist, rainbows arch gracefully above the falls — one of Iceland’s most iconic scenes.

Experience nature’s power at the Geysir geothermal field, where steaming vents, bubbling mud pools, and erupting geysers showcase Iceland’s geothermal heartbeat. Strokkur, the most active geyser, erupts every few minutes, shooting boiling water high into the air. Wander between sulfur-scented steam clouds and mineral-colored pools before enjoying lunch or coffee at the nearby visitor center.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds both geological and historical importance. It’s where the world’s first parliament was founded in 930 AD and where the North American and Eurasian plates drift apart. Walk through the Almannagjá gorge, admire the clear waters of the Silfra Fissure, and take in panoramic views of Þingvallavatn Lake. Few places combine raw natural beauty and cultural heritage so seamlessly.

End the day with total relaxation at the world-famous Blue Lagoon. Nestled in a lava field, its milky-blue waters stay naturally warm year-round and are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur. Float beneath rising steam, enjoy a silica mud mask, or simply soak while surrounded by black volcanic rock. Your ticket includes towel use and a welcome drink — a perfect way to rejuvenate before your final day in Iceland.

  3. 3Day 3: Reykjanes Geopark⌄

Included in UNESCO Global Geopark, Reykjanes is truly a gem. But this crucible of geothermal energy, seismic activity, and tectonic movements is hidden in plain sight. It is a welcome sign to many tourists who come and visit Iceland by plane, and as such Reykjanes is often unjustly overlooked. Reykjanes peninsula and driving through lava fields. As you travel through the lunar-like Reykjanes Peninsula, take a final look at Iceland’s moss-covered lava fields and rugged coastline. Your 4-day adventure ends here — with lasting memories of geysers, waterfalls, and the soothing warmth of the Blue Lagoon. We hope to welcome you back soon to discover even more of Iceland’s magic.
